Bryan Dayley has been described as a lot of things. Actor, Improviser, Singer, and even on occasion, a mover. After getting a film technician degree, he realized he’d drop everything and go back into theater. He loves being able to explore different worlds and characters and has an affinity for finding new perspectives on all sorts of different works. His reason for acting is to do things that haven’t been done before and sharing those with people who has never seen them.
Bryan has played many different roles in his life, both comedic and dramatic. From playing a more down to earth character like Sam Phillips in Million Dollar Quartet to playing a family of completely different and absurd characters as the Dysquith Family in Gentlemen’s Guide to love and murder. He was also fortunate enough to be in the National Premiere of the musical production of Strictly Ballroom at Hale Centre Theatre. Being able to stretch and play different wacky characters is one of Bryan’s favorite pastimes. He's used these talents on stage as well as on screen. He has been fortunate enough to work on multiple film sets with roles in Disney's Cloud Nine and Hallmark Channel's My Christmas Love.
Bryan loves Improv and Storytelling. He has performed and taught Improv with multiple different troupes throughout the state of Utah including Laughing Stock, Off the Wall, Improvables, and Hot Tea Improv. He also has studied improv at the IO theater and Second City Theater in Chicago. This education has helped him in writing comedic scripts and sketches for the Desert Star Theater and The Off Broadway Theater in Utah.
Outside of Theater, Bryan can be quite mysterious and elusive according to people who don’t know him, but for people who do know him, he’s just a goofy, sarcastic, guy with a smile like a cat. He loves games and stories of all kinds and especially loves finding new and different ways to solve problems.
In all honesty, Bryan is so many things in one, and wants to be so much more.
